Sender ID
A sender ID is an alphanumeric code unique to each email sender. It acts as an authentication record to validate brand identities to inbox service providers (ISPs) and mail servers to prevent emails from being misinterpreted as spam.
Since ISPs flag unknown or unreputable senders to prevent spoofing or phishing attacks, we recommend correctly setting up sender IDs and other authentication methods through protocols like SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI to avoid looking like a cybercriminal.
